Remuneration according to the modular principle

Salary formulas are coming into fashion. Behind this is not only the desire for clarity and transparency, but also for consistent and fair handling of salary determination and development.

The components of a salary formula should reflect which criteria are honoured by the corporate culture. A salary formula not only requires a consistent and coherent approach within the organisation, but also allows for typical "pay moments" to be planned and communicated to employees.

What can you expect?

We start with a first meeting to discuss the structure of the workshop and your learning goals. Our in-house format is participative, integrative and invites active engagement.

The format "Salary Formulas" is made up of these blocks (3-4 hours):

Diving into the idea behind the salary formula
We start with different company examples and clarify basic terms. We also look at the big construct of "salary formulas": Are salary formulas already New Pay? And how do salary formulas differ from other remuneration models?

Interaction and formation of building blocks in the salary formula
Focus on salary criteria: Which are common or, the much more interesting question, which are relevant? How does the building block work and what messages does it contain? Which building blocks does the organisation need and which combinations make sense - depending on how your organisation ticks.

Restrictions vs. freedom - influence on salary development
Finally, we go into the process level and explore ways to work effectively with a salary formula. There will be elements where automated processes lend themselves and others where a case-by-case decision may be necessary. Recognising and correctly classifying these is a challenge for which we will provide you with helpful tips and tricks.

What's your question?

In-house formats start with your questions. Whether you and your team are approaching the topic for the first time or have already gained experience with salary formulas and want to remove stumbling blocks. We adapt the content and moderation of this format: Where do you want to start and what input will help you and your team the most at this point?

We are looking forward to your request!

How do we learn together?

This is basically an online format, but can also be done on-site if necessary. Online, we meet in Zoom and work with a miroboard. You will receive all materials and/or links during or after the session. If you have any technical questions in advance, please contact Sarah
